2012年、最初のGorgeブーティスト達が参加したコンピレーション・アルバム『GORGE OUT TOKYO 2012』によって日本におけるGorgeの歴史はスタートした。当時は多くのGorgeブーティストが在住していた「TOKYO」という辺境。その名を関したこのアルバムは、Gorgeというバーチャル・トラディショナルな音楽ジャンルの「リアリティ」を証明するのに十分過ぎるくらいに、過剰なエネルギーを放っていた。

そして10年。GORGE.INは2022年に、『GORGE OUT “HERE” 2022』をリリースする計画である。前アルバムから始まったGorgeというストーリーは、現実と虚構の境目をダンスしながら、この10年で各々の場所へと恐ろしい勢いで拡散していった。東京・福岡・沖縄・京都・名古屋・岡山・札幌、そして海外ではアメリカ、アルゼンチン、イギリス、ベルギー、ドイツ・・・。もはや「TOKYO」という中心地は必要ではない。各々の居る「ここ」という辺境が、歴史の中心であり、最先端の現場なのだ。

「ここ」という荒野を拓け、それぞれのGorgeを名付けろ、歴史を紡げ。『GORGE OUT “HERE” 2022』が開幕する。

Gorge’s history in Japan began in 2012 with the compilation album “GORGE OUT TOKYO 2012” featuring the first Gorge artists. At the time, many Gorge artists lived in an area called “TOKYO”. The album radiated an excessive amount of energy, more than enough to prove the “reality” of the virtual traditional music genre called Gorge.

Ten years later, GORGE.IN plans to release GORGE OUT “HERE” 2022. The story of Gorge, which began with the previous album, has spread at a frightening rate to different places over the past decade, dancing on the border between reality and fiction. Tokyo, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Kyoto, Nagoya, Okayama, Sapporo, and abroad in USA, Argentina, UK, Belgium, Germany… There is no longer any need for a central location called “TOKYO”. The frontier “here” where each of us is located is the center of history and the site of the cutting edge.

Pioneer the wilderness called “here,” name your own Gorge, and make your history.
